Bone-Friendly Choice
Often picked for mineral-rich traditional meals.
Ragi Mix at Iyarkai Pantry is a sprouted finger-millet (kezhvaragu) breakfast mix — the sprouting step increases the bioavailability of calcium, iron and B vitamins compared to unsprouted ragi flour. The sprouted ragi is dried and ground, then blended with roasted pulses and a touch of palm sugar for a ready-to-cook porridge base. To prepare as a malt drink: mix one or two tablespoons with warm water or milk, sweeten with jaggery and drink immediately. To prepare as a thicker porridge: cook the mix with water on low flame, stirring until the desired consistency is reached. The 250g pack makes 15–20 drinks or 10–12 porridge servings. No preservatives, artificial flavours or colours. A standard breakfast choice for growing children, athletes and families following grain-forward traditional diets. Store in an airtight container and consume within 3 months.
